NEWSLETTER DRESSAGE PAS DE DEUX
Visitors to the 2007 Northern Ireland
International Horse show, were immersed in
the world of dressage, by a stunning pas de
deux which this year was choreographed by
the mastermind behind Dressage at Hickstead,
Mr Dane Rawlins.
Yvette Truesdale is Northern
Ireland’s leading dressage rider. She has
represented Ireland at Olympic, World and
European Level. At the recent National
Dressage Championships of Ireland she won
the Intermediaire I and Prix St Georges
Championships. At the international horse
show, Yvette will be riding her very
talented horse ‘Has to be Fun’.
Laragh Hamilton is one of Northern
Ireland’s up and coming stars. In 2006 she
was crowned the National Dressage Champion
of Ireland with her Irish Bred mare Claggan
Roxy Music. This pair was based with her
trainer Donie McNamara in Limerick until
recently. However, Laragh has now moved back
to Lisburn although she still trains with
Donie. She competed at International level
for the first time in 2007 at Hartpury and
Hickstead. Vistors will be thrilled by
Laragh when she bring Claggan Roxy Music to
the Odyssey.
