David Black coordinates early
ticket to cope with expected demand
Belfast (May 23, 2007) – David Black has been
working hard behind the scenes to ensure the tickets
for the 2007 Northern Ireland International Horse
Show were released in time for last week’s Balmoral
Show. Joe Sloan ,
President and Chairman of the Northern Ireland
International Horse Show Management Committee,
commented: “Following the phenomenal success of the
2006 event, we have brought David Black on board as
our Group Ticket Sales Coordinator to deal with the
huge demand. David’s organisation and his enthusiasm
have been instrumental in ensuring the tickets were
ready to go on sale at this year’s Balmoral Show in
Belfast.”
David, a keen showjumper himself, was involved in
the successful 2006 Northern Ireland International
Horse Show, and was pleased to take a more active
role in the 2007 event: “I wanted the tickets for
this year’s show to go on sale early to allow time
for everyone to ensure the event was added to their
calendar. There has been unprecedented interest from
pony clubs, equestrian centres, riding schools,
young farmers clubs and schools, and it gives me
time to see everyone personally to guarantee they
get the best package to suit their needs.”
David, who works closely with the show’s Sponsorship
Director, Heather Coyle, adds: “The 2006 Northern
Ireland International Horse Show was excellent and
the 2007 show is building on its success. The ‘Lagan
Wall’ on the Saturday night was the highlight for me
– the audience really built up an electric
atmosphere within the Odyssey Arena. With display
acts such as the Metropolitan Police Mounted
Training Unit already secured, we really are
expecting a great event.
“There is something for everyone at the Northern
Ireland International Horse Show – it’s a friendly,
family orientated event, driven by the Committee,
all of whom have equestrian links. The whole team
will be involved in the day to day running of the
show and the enthusiasm is contagious. We are
